Disposable Surgical Packs
>
An ENT tonsillectomy drape pack is the foundation of a controlled surgical field in otolaryngology theatres, where the operative site is small, deep and surrounded by airway structures. This single-use pack assembles the components an ENT team needs for tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy and uvulopalatoplasty into one EO-sterilised bundle: a fenestrated head and neck drape, an absorbent split sheet, a reinforced gown, a mayo stand cover, hand towels and a clear fluid collection pouch. Every item is folded in the sequence the scrub nurse opens it, so the circulating nurse can prepare the table in a few minutes instead of assembling loose drapes from stock. The fabric is a three-layer SMS nonwoven that resists strike-through while staying breathable for long lists, and the adhesive edges hold a stable seal on the chin, neck and shoulder contours. Because configurations are built to order, hospitals can standardise the pack per surgeon preference, reduce wastage from unused items and keep per-procedure consumable costs predictable across a whole ENT unit.

The pack is specified for otolaryngology departments, day-surgery units and ambulatory ENT clinics. Typical procedures include tonsillectomy with or without adenoidectomy, uvulopalatopharyngoplasty, laryngeal microsurgery, tracheostomy dressing changes and paediatric ENT lists. The fenestration is positioned to expose the oral cavity and anterior neck while the split sheet isolates the anaesthesia circuit, so the field stays organised around the airway. Because the configuration is modular, the same pack platform can be extended with a microscope drape for otology cases or reduced to a slim two-drape version for office-based procedures under local anaesthesia.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceEvery unit is double checked at three control points: component count at assembly, seal strength and visual inspection before sterilisation, and biological indicator release after the EO cycle. Documentation including sterilisation certificates, bioburden reports and material safety data sheets is available for tender submissions and hospital supplier qualification. Cartons are printed with lot number, sterilisation date and expiry so receiving teams can rotate stock on a first-expiry basis. Standard lead time is 25 to 30 days for a 200 pack minimum order, with air freight options for urgent tender deliveries. OEM programmes cover custom print, barcode labels and mixed-language instructions, and our technical team can review your preference card to propose a leaner configuration that removes duplicated items.
